Intensive Outpatient Program*
Do You Need The Time And The Space To Properly Heal?
Have you previously experienced trauma, grief, or any other significant form of loss that you never quite addressed, dealt with, or fully healed from?
Do you find that you spend a lot of time lost in your own head, ruminating about what you’ve gone through, without ever making any emotional progress?
Have you ever envisioned how the healing process from your trauma or loss might differ with the help and support of dedicated mental health professionals?
Intensive therapy in an outpatient program can help you work through your issues in a way that’s both comprehensive and flexible. If traditional therapy hasn’t given you enough support or you feel stuck in your healing process, intensive therapy can get you over the hump and help you move forward. At Rising Up IOP, we can work with you to get to the root cause of your struggles, not just the symptoms, so you can become more integrated and whole in mind, body, and spirit.

Who Can Benefit From Intensive Outpatient Therapy*?
Anyone who has experienced trauma, grief, loss, depression, anxiety, or any other mental health struggle and wants to work toward comprehensive healing can benefit from our IOP program. Intensive therapy allows you to holistically address your challenges in a structured, focused, and supportive setting without putting your life or responsibilities on hold.
However, some may be hesitant to seek intensive therapy due to fears of vulnerability, the enduring stigma around mental health issues, or concerns about being judged. On top of this, certain cultural or societal expectations may encourage and prioritize self-reliance, which can lead to feelings of inadequacy when seeking outside help or support.
And yet intensive therapy offers an important treatment option that many don’t know about. An IOP program can offer you exactly the form of community support you need to move past your issues more quickly and effectively. With intensive therapy, you can make the sort of progress in weeks or months that might’ve taken years or decades in traditional therapy.
Intensive Outpatient Therapy* Can Help You Reclaim Your Life
Intensive therapy tends to allow for quicker progress and deeper healing than traditional forms of therapy. With more frequent sessions, you have the opportunity to work through issues more consistently, develop stronger coping skills, and gain better emotional regulation. An intensive treatment can offer you a combination of individual therapy and group work.
Our program offers a safe, structured, supportive environment where you’ll engage in therapy five days each week—for 3.5 hours each day—then eventually reduce to three days per week. In our intensive therapy sessions, we will help you identify the root causes of your mental health challenges through a combination of traditional and alternative techniques.
What You Can Expect From Intensive Therapy
Our intensive outpatient program incorporates various treatment modalities, including:
Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) – An approach rooted in energy psychology, EFT can allow you to release stored emotional blockages.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) – An evidence-based form of psychotherapy, CBT can help you identify and reframe negative thought patterns.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) – Another cognitive-based approach, DBT can help you navigate particularly intense thoughts and emotions.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) – An increasingly popular modality, EMDR can help you reprocess traumatic memories.
The combination of these modalities allows for a holistic treatment approach toward physical, mental, and spiritual healing. An intensive outpatient program can address many of the reasons why traditional therapy doesn’t always work in the first place. Intensive therapy facilitates structure, consistency, and accountability—all within the supportive setting of community.
How Our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)* Can Help You
Intensive outpatient therapy with Rising Up can help you with:
Self-awareness – You will gain and develop insight into your thought patterns, behavioral patterns, and emotional triggers.
Emotional Regulation – You will learn how to effectively respond to triggers through mindfulness, breathwork, and movement practices to reduce stress and anxiety.
Cognitive Restructuring – You will work to reframe negative thoughts and beliefs through cognitive-driven treatment approaches.
Social Connection – You will strengthen your interpersonal skills so you can build healthier and more fulfilling relationships.
Resilience – You will develop coping strategies that both help you heal from past experiences and more effectively cope with future ones.
Our holistic approach to healing fosters comprehensive growth and long-term healing. We want you to heal at the deepest levels, not just at the surface. With the help of our community, you can move past your issues once and for all and live a more peaceful, fulfilling life.
